The American Journal of Obsetrics & Gynecology published an announcement that mothers taking Zyban during pregnancy have increased risk of giving birth to a child with heart birth defects, although many other birth defects may be at risk. The study showed that 3.6% of infants born to mothers who took Zyban during the first trimester had birth defects.
